Went ice skating with Aaron yesterday. It was so much fun. There were these other people there who weren't even skating, just making out. It's like, 'Hey, did you know you can do that somewhere else for free?' But whatever. They were off to the side most of the time. Aaron fell down three times (two of which were on purpose, though) and I didn't fall at all! WooHoo!! I just got back inside from throwing the Frizbee around with Aaron. My arms are so scratched up from catching it. The edges are rough because we have a paved driveway and Aaron keeps throwing it so that it doesn't make it all the way to me, it drops, and gets all scratched up on the pavement. We got a new Frizbee, though. It's official size, where our last one was way smaller! |

My family borrowed the movie "Forest Warrior," which we had seen a looooong time ago. None of us remember it very much, though, except for the fact that we liked it. So it was nice to see it again. And after we gave it back, we looked around some video stores, but nobody had it. So we bought it off the internet. Isn't the internet amazing?? I mean, especially when you think of all the possibilities that weren't available X number of years ago. Another movie we borrowed was "The Fighting Sullivans." Another old movie (literally - made in 1944) which none of us had seen in a long time. All I remembered about it was that it had a sad ending. But I loved the movie, and still cried at the ending. :-) I ended up dropping one of my classes this semster because I wasn't willing to devote the amount of time it required. I mean, I already have my Associate's degree, and I'm just taking classes for fun. The amount of time that class asked for was not what I bargained for. Plus it was much harder than expected, too. I absolutely love computers, and I'm good at Programming and whatnot, and I can pick it up very easily. I have a lot on my plate right now, with getting my head around all that needs to be done for school next year, and trying to pick up more hours at work.... yeah, I just wanted a smaller load. I've got some idea's for re-doing my website that I'm pretty excited about. And I've researched some HTML possibilites, so I've come up with a possible code to create a good template. I haven't tried it yet, but once I make myself a banner, then I'll get to work trying out the site to see how it looks. I really want to make it more different-browser-size friendly. |

Once again waiting for my brother to get out of class. *slightly bored* In other news, LOST last night was pretty great! The show definitely has a habit of making you anxious for the next episode. It keeps you guessing, and the plots are so intriguing. Yeah, it's just great!! =) This keyboard here at school is kinda small and really hard to type on, so any typos I don't catch, that would be why. Plus the 'End' button doesn't work, so if I fix an error, it's a pain to scroll all the way back to where I was when I realized there was an error. lol Read some Monkees fics today. Pretty exciting. We watched an episode of the Monkees last night. The Audition. Ha! I had forgotten how funny that one is. Well, they're all funny, but I haven't watched any of them in a while, so they'd probably all seem exceptionally funny! Ha! Okay, I'm just rambling cause I'm bored. But I'm done now. |

LOST tonight! Yay!! And another new season starts. I'm so excited! This season sounds like it's going to be G-R-E-A-T!!!! Also, I would like to say, that Donkey Kong 3 is probably the easiest of them all. But also the most frustrating. My brother and I have EVERYTHING! All the DK coins, and all the other gold coins. We're working on the Lost World, but that is the hardest of all the levels so far!! |

Oh yeah, and I watched the movie, "Bells of Innocence" last night. My dad bought it a week or so ago, and we all sat down last night to watch it. Kinda-spoilers placed below the cut. :) ( Bells of Innocence ) And it's kinda freaky, actually. But very good. |

I wish the wireless at school wouldn't keep kicking me off. It's really quite frustrating after a while. It kicks me offline, I click to go back online, and as soon as the browser is open, there I go back offline. All morning it did this. So, I'm in the library now. Using the school's computers that actually have internet that works. Ha Ha! Clever, huh? ;) |

I just found out that Transporter 3 is going to be in theeater on, I think, the 26th!! The trailer looks so good, and I loved the first two. Okay, I liked the first one better, but the second had it's good parts. Still, really excited. I haven't been to see a movie in the theater in such a long time. I wanted to see Eagle Eye, but alas, haven't gotten a chance. Also, my last post about Christmas music.... did I call it or what. That same night as I set my radio alarm, what were they playing but Christmas music. Seriously! My class was cancelled yesterday. I was pretty happy about that, b/c my family was going out of town for the evening, and that meant I got to go, too! The man who stocks the vending machine took out all Twix bars. Pretty disappointed about that. I had to settle for Skittles this morning. :( I like Skittles, but Twix makes a better breakfast. lol |

I wonder when they're going to start playing Christmas music on the radio? I remember the first song I heard last year was 'The Christmas Shoes' (LOVE that song, btw). And I remember thinking it was way too early for Christmas music (on the radio). So I wonder when they'll start it this year. Made an icon of one of my favorite stand-up comedians - Ken Davis. :) He's so funny! |

Got the house all to myself today! Pretty cool, but I'm not really doing much. Watched some old Smallville episodes earlier and now I'm watching Leave It To Beaver on tv. So, yeah, not the most exciting morning. I've realized that Christmas is 2 months and 4 days away. =D I love Christmas. And snow. Not driving in the snow. Nooooo! And not the coldness that comes with the season. But I like making snowmen. Last year, the snowman I made with my brother was almost bigger than he was. It was great! I've got class later. My brother is out shopping for the day, so he won't be taking me to campus. Debating on what time to leave. I don't mind getting to campus early due to their high-speed internet. =D I've been thinking for a while I'd like to try joining an RP here. I've seen a couple advertised that look like fun. It looks so complicated, though, so I don't know..... |

Feeling much better today! Yay! Smallvile last week was so amazing! Hilarious! The best part was when Lois and Clark were under cover shopping for an engagement ring, and Oliver walked in! I was cracking up so much! :) This whole season has ben extra amazing so far, but I'd say that's the best/funniest episode they've had in a long time.... |

I'm sick again! Not fun! It's debatable who gave it to me this time, but I'm going to say my brother again. My mom has been sick the last couple of days. But I felt fine when I went in to work this morning. And after working next to my brother for eight hours... by the end of the day I was starting to get sick. Now I feel terrible. Got a call from Kathleen on Thursday. It was so great getting to talk to her. I miss her so much! I almost moved and lived with her for a year, but then reality slapped me in the face and I realized that my pocketbook would not allow that... I can't wait to go see her graduate in May though. |

Why is it so cold??? Honestly, twice I've heard people say they've seen a stray snowflake while it's been raining. Yesterday, a bunch of Cosmetology students swore they saw snowflakes. And the other day my brother said he saw what looked like a snowflake, but refuses to believe it. I refuse to believe it, too. It's October 3rd . . . it's not supposed to snow for at least another two months. I mean, yes, I like snow, don't like driving in it, but like playing in it and building amazingly huge snowmen. But still, not in October. The van is at the mechanic, so me and my brother had to take my dad to work at 4 this morning, then drive over and wait until 4:30 for our manager to show up to so WE could work. It's cool, but it was so cold this morning! The temp at the bank said 32. Since that's technically freezing, I suppose snow could be plausible, but.... uh-uh. Oh, and we had to scrape ICE off the windows this morning. Is that crazy or what? IT'S OCTOBER!!! lol Work was actually busy today. Not cool, but cool. Stressful, but I definitely need the hours right now. Making ends meet financially right now is something that's not very simple. Soo.... I'm happy to take what hours I can get. Which right now my availability is only two days a week b/c of school, so not getting sent home early is always a plus. I can't wait until next year. I want to be at Liberty so bad. This current semester is terrible. I'd drop my classes if I didn't have to be on record as a "student." My brother wants to drop, too. At least one of his three classes. He had four, so he's already dropped one. But his teacher is pathetic. Hopefully next semester will be ions better. I'm not taking another theater class at THIS school, though, I can tell you that for sure. And my brother isn't taking any more automotive classes after this semester. I think we've both learned our lessons. Personally, I love my theater classes, just, not at this school.... Didn't get to see Fireproof last weekend. My family wasn't as interested as I thought they'd be, but oh well.... perhaps we'll at least rent it when it comes out on DVD. Although we haven't been in the rental store in ages! Hopefully there'll be some cool movies coming out soon anyway, I don't think I've been to see a movie since last February or March. Also, Smallville last night was FANTASTIC. I think, so far, this season is proving to be pretty amazing. I know it's only three episodes into the season, but still, they've all been above the -GREAT- standard for Smallville. :) |

I'm almost finished with my computer class. It was just a 6-week thing that started mid-August. I'm pretty excited, but upset that I can't afford to sign up for another one. I think I'm going to go stir crazy on school days at school without those assignments to work on. Well, okay, not true, I'll have plenty to do still. My brother's birthday is in a little over a week. He keeps trying to catch everyone off guard to find out what his presents are. *grins* We all play that game. I always ask and ask and ask and ask. But if anyone ever actually told me, I know I'd be mad. lol |

Yesterday was the first day of Fall! Goodness, the year sure has gone quickly. Have to talk to my teacher today about the Intro to Theater class. I don't want to participate in the play, and this talk with result in either me being able to do something else for the credit, or else me dropping the class. Sometimes I feel like I'm over-reacting to this, but I told my family about it and they support my original decision to not participate. So, we'll see what happens..... I'm kinda nervous, though..... |

New season of Smallville starts day after tomorrow! I'm so excited! Plus I read a spoiler that makes me especially happy - all I have to say is it's about time. Just finished my first Intro to Theater test. It was fairly easy and I'm confident I did well. Unfortunately, when I'm confident, that's when I do terrible, and when I'm worried, that's when I don't do too bad. So, here's hoping that I did well. Oh my gosh, the people at Liberty are sooooo nice. I really can't wait to go there next year, I'm so excited! All I need to do is find a way to financially attend, because I certainly shouldn't have a wait list problem this time; I'm applying almost a year in advance.... |

It's my birthday and I'm sicker than I have been in a looooong time. I keeo joking around with my brother telling him that this cold was his birthday present to me, and he passed it on as a joke telling other people. But I think he feels bad because it was indeed him that gave it to me. But, it's not his fault. Thankfully, I got a lot of movies as presents, so after I got off work today, we all just sat and watched movies and I got to pick them all! lol :) |
